$12,000 Goal

igniting youth creativity through visual arts expression and community connection

ArtReach believes all young people deserve equal access to creative opportunities. Thousands of students in San Diego County schools have no access to visual arts education programs. ArtReach provides arts access through our free and low-cost residency and mural programs.

Did you know only three public elementary schools in the city of San Diego have a full-time visual arts teacher?

That leaves 114 public elementary schools that go without an immersive arts experience. ArtReach exists to help fill this gap. With over 6,000 students waiting for their ArtReach Programs to begin, we could use your help today. A donation of just $10 ensures the transformative power of hands-on artmaking is accessible to one young artist. It ensures they will build confidence, take ownership of their unique ideas, and contribute to their communities. A donation of $100 will fund a full year of art programs for that same student.

ArtReach Residency Program

When we lead with compassion and heart, we see pressure dissolve and true creative exploration unfold

ArtReach's visual arts education programs are inspired by relevant, contemporary visual arts practices with a focus on creating spaces for expression by fostering growth, community, and connection in the classroom.

Our Teaching Artists provide a conduit for igniting the creativity that already resides within each young person, helping students process and express feelings, foster community with peers, and build self-esteem in a supportive yet challenging environment.

All humans should be valued, seen, and heard

We believe art and creative practice play a crucial role in human development and are an essential part of education for all. Our in-class lessons are Social-Emotional Learning aligned, prioritizing wellbeing, creativity, and balance in the classroom.

ArtReach provides free and discounted visual art programs for Title I elementary schools that lack the financial resources to fund a visual arts program for their students.
