SAY San Diego's Back to School campaign is live! 

This year all donations will be matched dollar for dollar by our Matching Gift Donor to ensure vulnerable families and their kiddos have a strong start to the new school year this fall!

With San Diego County experiencing the second highest inflation rate in the nation, local families are facing increasing economic uncertainty. Many families with children, especially those from under-resourced backgrounds, are faced with the difficult choice of paying for housing, utilities, food, and school supplies. For nearly two decades, SAY San Diego has addressed the school supplies needs of children from economically insecure households through our annual Back to School campaign.  SAY San Diego’s Back to School campaign ensures that all students, regardless of socioeconomic background, have equal access to the necessary tools for success in the classroom.  This year we are raising funds to provide gift cards to families so they can ensure their kiddos have what they need to start off the new school year in the fall! By providing gift cards, SAY San Diego’s Back to School campaign allows families to purchase school supplies in a personalized and dignified way.
